SPECIAL RECOGNITION
1. Best Bred and Owned - In each class, the best bred and owned ani¬mal will be recognized and may be solely or jointly owned by the exhibi¬tor, who solely or jointly bred the animal. The breeder must be eligible to exhibit as owner or co-owner at this show.
2. Best Uddered Female - The judge declares a best uddered female in each milking class.
3. Junior Champion & Reserve Junior Champion Females will be chosen from the top twoplacings of classes 1 to 6.
4. Grand Champion & Reserve Champion Females will be chosen from the top two placings of classes 8 to 14.
5. Beauty and Utility - The cow with the highest BCA, that placed in the top three of one of the senior classes. The exhibitor must show proof of the animal’s BCA by presenting a DHI record of production of a com¬pleted record for the cow.

CLASS 6 Female, 3 year old, born September 1, 2006 to August 31, 2007. In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
CLASS 7 Female, 4 year old, born September 1, 2005 to August 31, 2006. In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
CLASS 8 Female, 5 year old, born September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2005. In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
CLASS 9 Female, mature cow, born prior to September 1, 2004.In milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving.
CLASS 10 Best Udder Class. Judge shall designate best udder in classes 6, 7, 8 & 9. These designated exhibits shall compete for first, second and third best udders in the show. Prize money to be paid on the first, second and third best udders in the show.
CLASS 11 Breeder’s Herd. Group of 3 animals, all bred by exhibitor, with a minimum of 1 owned by exhibitor. Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes for single animals. (Prize money same as previous classes).
SPECIAL AWARDS DONATED TO AYRSHIRE CLASSES
Woodlea Farm Trophy (perpetual). This trophy, donated by Ross Rodger and Family, will be awarded to the exhibitior of the
Junior Champion Ayrshire Female. The Grant Wharry Memory Trophy (perpetual).This trophy, donated by Mrs. Georgina Wharry, in memory of the late Grant Wharry, will be awarded to the exhibitor of the Grand Champion Ayrshire Female.
