RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All competitors must hold current membership in the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society. Fee is $6. A list of last year’s competitors who have already paid their membership is available at the Fair secretary’s office.
2. Membership does not include gate entrance fees. One entrance to the grounds is permitted for one horse. If required to pay entry to the grounds, please co-operate and do so, then bring your proof of entry to the horse show secretary for reimbursement.
3. Membership and entry fees are payable to the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society. Your cheque must accompany your entry form. Email or Mail entries (see pg. _____) to: Tammy Allen, 2258 Allen Road, Alfred. ON. K0B 1A0, or rkallen@cnwl.igs.net
4. Proof of negative coggins test for 2010 is required with all entry forms.
5. Proof of liability insurance obtained by the owner and covering both the exhibitor and third parties is required with all entry forms.
6. Access to stalls in the barn is on first come basis.
7. Entry Fees: Walk/trot $8/class, Novice Intermediate, Advanced and Open $10/class, Ride a five $5, Schooling is $10/ ½ hour.
8. Schooling over jumps in the ring: walk/trot and Novice 7:45- 8:15am , Intermediate and Advanced during lunch (following leadline class)
9. No cross entries between divisions, any rider may enter Open classes. Leadline may not enter any other classes.
10. Awards given to Champion and Reserve Champion for each division. Points awarded for these respective classes: Walk/trot (1,5,9,12), Novice (2,6,13,15), Intermediate (3,7,17,19), Advanced (4,8,18,20).

12. Entries close Aug 18/10. Post entries accepted 1 hour prior to start of class with an additional $2 per class.
13. All riders are required to wear an approved helmet with harness while mounted.
14. For safety reasons, we regret that no stallions will be allowed at this show.
15. No interference or complaints to the judge will be tolerated. All complaints must be submitted in writing to the VKH Horse Show Committee, as per General Rules and Regulations #14.
