Proof of LIABILITY INSURANCE as well as a negative COGGINS TEST must accompany all entries.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. All competitors must hold current membership in the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society. Fee is $6. A list of last year’s competitors who have already paid their membership is available at the Fair secretary’s office.
2. Membership does not include gate entrance fees. One entrance to the grounds is permitted for one horse. If required to pay entry to the grounds, please co-operate and do so, then bring your proof of entry to the horse show secretary for reimbursement.
3. Membership and entry fees are payable to the Vankleek Hill Agricultural Society. Your cheque must accompany your entry form.
4. Proof of negative Coggins Test for 2010 is required. Include a copy with your entry form.
5. Proof of Liability Insurance obtained by the owner and covering both the exhibitor and third parties is required with the entry form.
6. No interference or complaints to the judge will be tolerated. All complaints must be submitted in writing to the VKH Western Horse Committee.
7. No abuse of artificial aids will be tolerated.
8. We recommend the use of appropriate safety headgear, at all times, while mounted.
9. Stallions must be handled only by adults, at all times, while on the grounds. Unruly stallions may be excused from the ring and, if necessary, from the show.
10. A youth is any person 17 years of age and under as of January 1/10.
An adult is any person 18 years of age and over as of January 1/10.
11. Any horse four years of age or under can be ridden two handed with either a snaffle bit or
a bosal. This includes walk-trot classes.
